Our empanadas at DAMA are my interpretation of an Argentinian-style empanada, which is typically smaller in size. The flaky texture is attributed to the high amount of butter and a small amount of vinegar inside of the pastry dough, which, when cooked, allow for small pockets of air that are able to capture the seeping juices of the oil, onion, and beef when cooked that burst with flavor as you bite into it.

Kit Includes:
- 5 x 0.4 oz empanada discs
- 5 oz meat filling
- 2 x 2 oz piri piri vinegar
- 15 Pre-made empanadas

Dough: all-purpose flour, salt, butter, egg, ice water, white vinegar.
Filling: ground beef, salt, green onion, yellow onion, Spanish paprika, tomato paste, oregano, parsley.
Vinegar: malagueta chili, white vinegar.
Refrigerate immediately upon arrival.
