Return Policy & Post Shipment FAQ’s 

All perishable items are final sale. If an item(s) arrives spoiled or damaged, our Customer Care team will assist in determining an appropriate solution (Please reference our shipping policy for any shipping related issues). 

Contact us at care@scopaitalianroots.com within 7 days of the delivery so we can resolve the issue in a timely manner. 

For all kitchen tools and chef wear manufacturer defects, please reach out to the brand/manufacturer directly. 

What if my package arrived damaged? 

We understand that sometimes accidents happen and items are damaged in transit. Our Customer Care team will do our best to resolve the issue. Please contact our team at care@scopaitalianroots.com within 7 days of the delivery so we can resolve the issue in a timely manner.  

Please provide photos that include: 

  • Damaged area 
  • Side & overhead photo of product 
  • Photo of packaging/box 

I received the wrong order or an item(s) is missing 

Our team is doing our best to pack your order as accurately as possible, however, mistakes happen. We will do our best to resolve your issue as quickly as possible!

Be sure to include all necessary details regarding your inquiry, including:

My order arrived thawed or warmer than expected 

Our Scopa Italian Roots team takes extra steps in our testing process to ensure that your order is both packaged properly and shipped in order to arrive in good condition and is as fresh as possible. This helps mitigate the risk of any shipping issues that beyond our control that your order may encounter, including weather delays and high volume during the holiday season. 

Many items will come thawed, and should be refrigerated immediately upon arrival in order to extend the freshness of the product. It is normal for our frozen product to partially or fully thaw in transit, and are safe to enjoy as long as they arrive cool to the touch (as if they were in the refrigerator!). 

If you have any additional questions or concerns about the condition of your order, please contact our Customer Care team at care@scopaitalianroots.com within 7 days of the delivery so we can resolve the issue in a timely manner. Scopa Italian Roots is not responsible for orders that are damaged due to extreme seasonal temperatures, however, we will handle each inquiry on a case-by-case basis and are happy try and find a resolution for you. 

I received a package as gift and it arrived damaged or contained incorrect items 

Our team is doing our best to pack your order as accurately as possible, however, mistakes happen. We will do our best to resolve your issue as quickly as possible!

Our team will do our best to resolve the issue swiftly. We will contact the purchaser (for security reasons) to notify them of the issue and receive their authorization to resolve the issue. In most cases, we will reship your gift on the next available ship date, unless otherwise agreed to. 

I sent my order as a gift, and the recipient didn’t open it in time 

All customers are responsible for notifying their gift recipients that their gift is on the way, and they they are able to receive the perishable package. Scopa Italian Roots is not responsible for packages that are reported damaged or expired due to opening delays or lack of proper storage upon delivery.
